Armaan Kohli born on March 23rd, 1968 is an Indian actor producer is the son of Rajkumar Kohli and Nishi Kohli. His father was a successful director and professional bhangra dancer in Hindi as well as Punjabi movies. His mother was also an actress. Armaan made his bollywood debut as young Lakhan in Badle Ki Aag released in 1982 which was directed by none other than his father, Rajkumar Kohli. He also performed as a child artist in 1984 bollywood flick Raj Tilak. His father launched him in action, drama movie Virodhi as the leading actor in 1992. The movie also stars Dharmendra, Sunil Dutt, Anita Raj and Poonam Dhillon howeaver the film was not able to perform at box office. He also play as the leads in Aulad Ke Dushman, Qahar and many other hindi films but he did not get much success with these films too. Armaan also shooted for one the commercially successful musical romantic film Deewana but he opted out of the movie after his first shoot and his role was given to Shahrukh Khan. After a break of almost 5 years he make his bollywood comeback with fantasy horror movie Jaani Dushman which gets negative reviews from most of the critics and the collections sunk by the end of the very first week of release and the movie managed to collect 10 crore rupees during 4-weeks span. He was last seen on silver screen Major Vikas Bohra in war film LOC: Kargil based on the Kargil War which was one of the longest film 4hr 15 mins screenplay and had almost 30 reknown actors which gets mixed response from critics and was able to collect approximately 69 crore rupees. Currently he is one of the contestant in the seventh edition India’s controversial reality TV show: Bigg Boss 7.
